Quicksilver

As you can tell by my fantastic photoshop job, I'm only a little bit obsessed with these silver platforms from Nine West last season. At 6 inches in chrome faux-leather, they're the kind of shoe that grabs you by the iris. When they first came out I wasn't 100% about diving into the space stripper trend, put best by Raezz of Cheapthrills. 

After seeing so many great outfits and editorials, I had to have them. Luckily for me, my obsession was sated when I saw the shoes at one of the Nine West Shoe Studio Outlet stores for half the price (not online, you've gotta make the trip) I was sold! Now I can wear these badboys with just about anything I want to! I have yet to wear it post photos, but as soon as I get a G Series Powershot, I'll be up and running walking quickly.

I am a shoe fiend. I really don't know where to put them all. When I found out that these feathered shoes from Kirna Zabête were going to be happening, I knew I had to get my hands on them. (Street style photogs at Toronto Fashion Week, you will not be able to deny me!) There's definitely a WHAT factor about them, if not a little boudoir. I actually set an alarm on my phone to remind me to get on to the Kirna Zabête website this morning to beat the pack, and it paid off! I've been searching for some great boots for this Fall, and so far have relegated my shoe purchases to cute heels, wedges and sneakers wedges. I need to stop buying silly things and get a shoe I need!

I was blown away when I saw that superbabe jewellery designer Pamela Love was working on a capsule collection with Nine West, and that Canada would be getting my favourite colour (I mean, black is rad too, but I'm excited to have something different)!  Maybe the red was selected because of our flag? ANYWAY. They're a great red colour that will bring some pizazz a winter wardrobe. Inspired by southwestern travellers, this bootie is tough without being a tryhard.
